"The Undead Limb of Horace Phelps"

The Monkeytrot Rhyme

A mouthful of cat,
For the meat peddler's rat;
The moon jumped into the hat.
A sunny day's ride,
With death, the white bride;
The sow is fled from her hide.
A king takes a bow,
To the hog by the trough;
The pail jumped over the cow.
A run off the track,
On a wild monkey's back;
The sun and the moon have gone black.
